Eddie Colley is the best realtor in Black Mountain, period. We used him to buy two properties in Cheshire, and when we decided to sell one four years later, we talked to him, but also two other respected realtors in the area. Eddie recommended "staging" our high-end house, since we had furnished it with mostly hand-me-down furniture from our main Ohio house. He said if we freshened paint and carpet, and staged the house, he would ask $50,000 more than the other realtors had recommended. (I hadn't told him their numbers.) So we did that. We spent less than $20K making the house perfect, and two months later received and accepted a full price offer! We ended up netting about $30,000 more than if we had gone with a different realtor. Not because he recommended a higher price, but because he had a logical plan to make our house more desirable. We can't recommend him highly enough.
